We are located in the Town & Country Shopping Center 3/4 of a mile south of Lindale Mall, on 1st Ave. S.E.
From I 380, exit on 32nd St. If coming south, turn left. If coming north, turn right. Stay on 32nd street for 1 mile. This brings you to 1st Ave. S.E. There is a Hardees on your left. Turn left on to 1st Ave. Travel 4 blocks. Plato's Closet is located in the Town & Country Shopping Center on your right.

How does your store work?
We buy and sell new and gently used brand name teen clothing and accessories that you have purchased from the retail stores in the last 1-1 1/2 years. We are looking for clothing that is current in style and in great shape. We eliminate anything with holes, fading, missing buttons, stains or items we know are a poor sell in or market. Please keep in mine the 90% of our shoppers are casual teenager and that is who we buy for.
How much will I get for my clothes?
If we buy your clothes, you will receive 30-40% of what the item will sell for. We base our prices on brand, item, age of the label, condition and the demand in our store.
What sizes do you take/have?
We take juniors sizes 00 - 17/18 in bottoms and XS - XXL in tops for girls. Guys are sizes 26 - 40 in bottoms and XS - XXXL in tops.
Do I need an appointment to bring in my items.
You do not need an appointment. We work on a first come, first served basis. How long it takes depends on how much you bring in and how many buys are head of you. We ask that you freshly launder and neatly fold your items in a laundry basket, box, bin or shopping bag. Please, no hangers or garbage bags. Remember, if it is too heavy for you to carry, it will be too heavy for our staff to manage, also.
Are you only purchasing seasonal items?
No, we buy all seasons all the time.
What else do you take besides teen clothing?
We also purchase shoes, belts, purses, backpacks, jewelry, books, DVD's and quality, un-used body lotions, soaps and perfumes.
How do I get paid?
We will pay you the day you bring your clothes in. We pay cash up to $50, and by check for totals greater than $50.
Do you have a return policy?
Yes. You have 7 days, with the tags on the clothing and your receipt and you can get a refund of you money in the same tender in which you paid. No tags, no receipt, no return. Clearance items and accessories are not returnable.
